How it works

  1. Choose an option. One-time for a single month, or automatic for recurring monthly rent.
  2. Enter your details on Stripe’s secure page. Card or bank account; your information goes straight to Stripe, not to us.
  3. Get a receipt. Stripe emails you a receipt for every payment. For automatic rent, that email also lets you update your card or cancel.

Is online payment secure? Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe, a leading global payments provider. Your card or bank details are entered on Stripe’s secure page and are never stored by 821 South Main.

Can I set up automatic monthly rent? Yes. The “Automatic Monthly Rent” option creates a recurring monthly payment (a Stripe subscription) so your rent is charged on the same schedule each month without a reminder.

How do I change my card or stop automatic payments? Every Stripe receipt includes a link to manage your payment. From there you can update your card or cancel the automatic monthly payment at any time. You can also contact us and we’ll help.

What if my rent amount is different? If your rent has changed or you’re not sure which amount to pay, contact us before paying and we’ll confirm the correct amount or send you a tailored payment link.
